Faith & Freedom Coalition Celebrates the Governors of Alaska, Texas, Arkansas, and Indiana for Banning Abortions

DULUTH, Ga. – Faith & Freedom Coalition continues to celebrate the governors who are standing up for life, including the governors of Alaska, Arkansas, Texas and Indiana for enacting a temporary ban on abortions in order to preserve medical resources to fight COVID-19.

Since the spread of COVID-19 the following states have chosen to temporarily ban abortions: Iowa, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Alaska, Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, West Virginia, and Indiana. These states have chosen to protect and care for COVID-19 patients while also preserving innocent unborn lives.

“These governors understand the importance of caring for every stage of life, from the unborn to the elderly,” said Faith & Freedom Coalition Executive Director Timothy Head. “We hope to see even more states join in to ban abortions. Every life is full of dignity, and each person is made in God’s image. We are called to care for one another – and that includes the unborn.”
