Faith & Freedom Coalition Applauds Trump Administration for Fighting to Get Funding for Small Businesses and Faith-Based Organizations

WASHINGTON – Faith & Freedom Coalition commends the Trump administration for putting pressure on Democrats to agree on funding for emergency small business loans. Yesterday, Congress agreed on $310 billions of additional money for the Paycheck Protection Program, which is designed to provide loans to businesses impacted by COVID-19.

For weeks, Democrats have delayed the process by pushing for the loans to be expanded. This has kept small businesses from receiving loans and is detracting from helping these businesses and organizations.

“President Trump has once again shown his dedication to the American people by pushing for bipartisan agreement on the Paycheck Protection Program,” said Faith & Freedom Coalition Executive Director Timothy Head. “Supporting small businesses should be something we can all get behind. We are grateful to the administration for consistently prioritizing the needs of ordinary Americans during this time of crisis and uncertainty.”
