DULUTH, Ga. – The Faith & Freedom Coalition today announced Kari Lake and Benny Johnson will speak at its 2023 Road to Majority Policy Conference, the largest public policy gathering of conservative and Christian activists in the nation, at the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C.
Road to Majority will feature over 70 speakers and an estimated 3,000 attendees throughout the weekend. The purpose of the conference is to empower conservative activists to fight for their values at the polls and in the public arena and to equip attendees with the knowledge and connections they need to drive engagement and voter turnout.
Kari Lake, one of nine children, was born in Illinois and raised in Iowa by her parents, a teacher and a nurse. She studied communications and journalism at the University of Iowa and began working in the news industry as an intern while still in school. Kari went on to work for a variety of television stations, most notably Phoenix’s KSAZ-TV, where she worked as an anchor from 1999 to 2021. After deciding to depart from working in mainstream media, Kari ran for governor in Arizona in 2022, receiving President Donald Trump’s endorsement, and her campaign highlighted issues of public safety, energy independence, education, and putting Arizonans first. Kari is married to Jeff Halperin, and together they have two children, Ruby and Leo.
Benny Johnson spent his childhood in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and went on to attend the University of Iowa. He has since established himself as an important figure in conservative online news and media, with millions of social media followers across various platforms. He currently hosts the successful podcast “The Benny Show,” and he is also working as Chief Creative Officer at Turning Point USA. He is also a veteran of Newsmax, TheBlaze, National Review, International Journal Review, and BuzzFeed. Benny and his wife, Kate, have two daughters.
