Faith & Freedom Executive Director Tim Head Meets With President Trump To Discuss Human Trafficking

Washington, DC – Timothy Head, Executive Director of the Faith & Freedom Coalition, issued the following statement concerning his meeting today with President Trump and federal, state, and local law enforcement authorities, and other non-profit organizations, to discuss ways to identify and prosecute human trafficking cases, and assist victims of trafficking. 

“Today President Trump, Attorney General Sessions and Ivanka Trump displayed their commitment to stopping human trafficking and achieving justice for victims of trafficking. It was my honor to be included in today’s meeting, alongside allies in the effort to combat human trafficking, to begin the process, as President Trump stated, “to bring the full force and weight of the U.S. government to combat the epidemic of human trafficking.”

Faith & Freedom Executive Director Tim Head Statement On Trump DOJ/DOE Bathroom Directive

Duluth, GA – Timothy Head, Executive Director of the Faith & Freedom Coalition, released the following statement on the directive by President Trump to reverse the Obama administration’s order under Title IX, that public schools and universities that receive federal funding provide bath and locker room access for transgender students.

“Thank you President Trump for your decision to uphold the rule of law and reverse the Obama administration’s directive that put the privacy and safety of public school children at risk. The Obama administration usurped the will of the people and imposed their far left ideology on public schools and universities through coercion by the Departments of Education and Justice and now this overreaching federal mandate is being thrown on the trash heap of history where it belongs.”

Statement On Confirmation of Dr. Tom Price As Secretary of Health & Human Services

Duluth, GA – Faith & Freedom Coalition Executive Director Tim Head issued the following statement on the Senate confirmation of Rep. Tom Price as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

“Congratulations to the new Secretary of Health and Human Services, Dr Tom Price of Georgia. Secretary Price is a true friend of Faith and Freedom. He can now begin the work that the American people elected this administration to do, including the effort to repeal and replace Obamacare and its increased insurance premiums for families and individuals, bloated state budgets from Medicaid expansion, and an unconstitutional mandate that requires faith-based organizations to provide medical services that violate their consciences and faith.

Statement On Confirmation of Senator Jeff Sessions As Attorney General

Duluth, GA – Tim Head, Executive Director of the Faith & Freedom Coalition, issued the following statement on Senator Jeff Sessions being confirmed by the United States Senate to serve as Attorney General of the United States.

“Senator Sessions is the right person at the right time in our history to serve as Attorney General and we are thankful that he has been confirmed to begin the work the American people elected this administration to do. He understands the mission and the duties of the U.S Department of Justice, and with Jeff Sessions as Attorney General, the American people will be safer, law enforcement will receive the support they need and deserve, the Constitution will be better protected, and the rule of law will be properly enforced.”

Betsy DeVos Confirmed as Secretary of Education

Tim Head, Executive Director of the Faith & Freedom Coalition, issued the following statement on Betsy DeVos being confirmed by the United States Senate to serve as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education.
