FFC Rolls Through Iowa
The Iowa Christian Alliance sponsored two events featuring Ralph Reed, Chairman of FFC as the main speaker in Cedar Falls and Cedar Rapids Iowa on August 11th.
ICA President Steve Scheffler played host to Reed for the second time in the last month.
“The Iowa Christian Alliance was honored and thrilled to host Ralph Reed at 2 house parties in Iowa on August 11th. Ralph’s visit to our state assisted in laying out what is at stake for traditional families in 2010. We are excited about pro-family Iowans realizing that they must be actively involved in door knocking or phone calling on behalf of pro-family Iowans who will be running for the Iowa Legislature. We are thrilled that the enthusiasm and sense of the mission is taking hold here in Iowa,” said Scheffler.
Reed challenged the crowd during his speech to work as hard as the opposition, “We’ve spent the last years playing defense on our own goal line. Are we as dedicated as they are?” he asked.
“Iowa is important, the Faith and Freedom Coalition is making it a high priority,” said Reed.
